Service: Love God, Love Neighbor, That's It 
Point 1: Bring you questions to Jesus -Matthew 22:34-36 
-important question - he brought it to Jesus -an example for us  
-kids do it - they come to us - they know who to go to - we should do the same - we know that jesus is the one to go to - he is the answer  
-John 1:1-3 
-we have questions but we seek in the wrong places - we should to to Jesus first  
-pray 
-1 Thess  
Point 2: Love God - Matthew 22:37 
-Duet 6:5 - quotes from - Jewish service start with this verse and even this is the first verse the kids have to learn 
-our entire basis of life is to love God 
-heart, soul, mind - give everything to God - give ourself to God 
-psalm 35 
-we have to focus on him - put him on the throne - make him the center to our love - the center of our life 
Point 3: Love Neigbhor - Matthew 22:39-40 
-Lev 19:18 - quoted from 
-love God and you will love everyone around you  
-neigbhor - the person that is close to us - physically and metaphorically/emotionally 
-life is short - do you know the people around you and do they know you  
-be a community of lovers 
-salt of the earth 
-be friendly and be interested  
-love everyone 
-Col 3:16 
-Ephesians 5:1-2

“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” Romans 15:4. Everything, and I mean everything, in the Bible was written for us. From Genesis all the way to Revelations. Even the books of law in Exodus, Deuteronomy, and Leviticus. All that is written can be used to spread the word and love of Jesus. “ALL Scripture is god-breathed” (2 Tim. 3:16). It is used to teach, rebuke, correct, and train.It is “sharper than any double-edge sword” (Hebrews 4:12). It is alive and active. Everything that is written in the Bible no matter the time period is still relevant today. We age, but God doesn’t. That is why it is important to continually be in the Scripture.
