-believed in God - had faith - but no trust - James 2:19 
-belief is not trust 
-negotiation is not submission 
-rejecting God's Messengers is rejecting God 

-1 Thess 5:20 
-a lack of submission comes from a hard heart - Hebrews 12:3  
-have the tough talks

We have to love one another, even our enemies. We gain joy by believing in Jesus and following his teachings. There is everlasting joy just knowing he has our back even during the tough times. “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” Romans 15:4. Everything, and I mean everything, in the Bible was written for us. From Genesis all the way to Revelations. Even the books of law in Exodus, Deuteronomy, and Leviticus. All that is written can be used to spread the word and love of Jesus. “ALL Scripture is god-breathed” (2 Tim. 3:16). It is used to teach, rebuke, correct, and train.It is “sharper than any double-edge sword” (Hebrews 4:12). It is alive and active. Everything that is written in the Bible no matter the time period is still relevant today. We age, but God doesn’t. That is why it is important to continually be in the Scripture. We have to continually read, study, and talk about it. We have to train in righteousness and be ready for the day when Jesus comes back.
