“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in your lives in him, rooted and built up in him strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7. We have to be able to let our roots grow. Jesus taught us several times that we have to have a strong foundation (Mt. 7:24-27) and strong roots (Mt. 13:1-23). Jesus is not a one time thing, we cannot go “I believe He is my Lord and Savior” and just walk away. That is not what we are called to do. We are called to be disciples and to preach the Word of God. We are called to love everyone like Jesus did. Jesus did not care who you were or what your past was, he accepted everyone because we are all made in the image of God. We all are natural born sinners, but Jesus died in order for our sins to be forgiven. God’s arm is not too short to save anyone (Isa. 59:1), He has the ability to save everyone.
