-
The Secret Sauce: John 15:1-17 
-the thing about wild men- the fruit that is produced in their life- what they do 
-stop trying to be a wild man - focus more on loving God - then being a wild man will happen  
-first seek his kingdom - and all things will fall for us 
-focus on the vine - what you are doing - grow your fruit 
-we might fall - we might not produce the dream - we might not be growing the fruit we want  
-can lead to doubt - but Jesus chose us - he chose you 
-we might be focusing on ourselves - trying to do it alone -without God's help 
-we can't - we need Jesus and his help 
-need to have a deep quiet time - pray - pray for who we are studying with - be with Jesus  
-remain in him and have his word reman in you 
-you plant the seed but God waters 
-Hebrews 11 - Hall of Faith 
-they had their faults - they didn't try - but God called them and formed them 
-Galatians 5:4-6 
-got to start chasing Jesus and not results 
-jesus doesn't want a servant - he wants a friend - need to have an obsession with knowing and being with Jesus  
-“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

The fruit of the Spirit is all things that we should be. Jesus came into this earth in order for us to be saved from eternal death and also to be an example for us. Jesus never turned a blind eye. He embraced everyone with open arms. You have to work hard everyday to strengthen ourselves in these categories. We have be able to portray these characteristics in order to bear good fruit. We have to love one another, even our enemies. We gain joy by believing in Jesus and following his teachings. There is everlasting joy just knowing he has our back even during the tough times. We have to bring peace to this world that is full of hate and evil. There is constant war and battle, we have to be that loving, peaceful hand in the toughest of situations. We have to be faithful. “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” Romans 15:4. Everything, and I mean everything, in the Bible was written for us. From Genesis all the way to Revelations. Even the books of law in Exodus, Deuteronomy, and Leviticus. All that is written can be used to spread the word and love of Jesus. “ALL Scripture is god-breathed” (2 Tim. 3:16). It is used to teach, rebuke, correct, and train.It is “sharper than any double-edge sword” (Hebrews 4:12). It is alive and active. Everything that is written in the Bible no matter the time period is still relevant today. We age, but God doesn’t. That is why it is important to continually be in the Scripture. We have to continually read, study, and talk about it. We have to train in righteousness and be ready for the day when Jesus comes back.
