Daily Devotional: 3/8/2018

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ””Acts 20:35. 

We all have certain gifts. Some people are blessed with more than others. Jesus came to this Earth to give and show love and in the end he showed us the ultimate sign of love in giving up his life in order for us to be forgiven of our sins. Jesus never shyed away from helping a "lost cause" or someone in need. Use that as an example to go through the day and help someone even if they don't ask.

This world is a dark place, I said it before and this will not be the last time I put it in a devotional. It is, it was no God’s intentions when he created us and created this world that darkness will take over. But just like everything else God uses it for his advantage. He allows all the bad things that happen in this world and to us to show us his power. He uses it to bring us closer to him. He uses it to show he has something better for us not only not only on this earth, but in heaven.
