"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8.

Let this verse be a constant reminder for us. Not only during this Easter weekend, but have it be a daily reminder. We are naturally born sinners, and we sin everyday. We sin even when we try not to sin, that is just the way we are. We go against God's word all the time. God could destroy us at any second, but he does not. He does not because he loves us. He loves us so much that he sent his one true son to this earth, Jesus. Jesus came here to be an example for us. He lived a life full of love and grace. Jesus was perfect, he is and was literally the only person ever to live without sin. He had never done wrong. Jesus was crucified. But it was not just an ordinary crucifixion, Jesus was sacrificed. He was sacrificed in order for our sins to be forgiven. This does not only show the love that Jesus showed towards us, but God as well. This was his one only true son, he allowed to be brutally punished and crucified. As we continually sin, we are continually forgiven thanks to the death of Jesus. He is our savior. He is the reason why we live on this earth. He is the reason why we have an eternal life in heaven.

Lord, thank you. Thank you for continually showing us love as we sin on a daily basis. We are not worthy of your love. We are not worthy of living the lives we do. You give us so much and give us so much grace, thank you. Sorry for all we do against you. Amen.
